Frequently Asked Questions

How can I view the status of my order?
A:
Click on the Customer Service link in the menu on the left and enter your confirmation number. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.

Q: When will my order ship?
A: I almost always ship orders within 24 hours of receiving payment and I send an email to confirm shipment.

Q: What are your shipping fees?
A:
Standard domestic orders ship for free. International sales ship by First Class International. Insurance is optional for domestic orders and not available for International shipments. Click Here to read more about my insurance policy.

Q: Why do you have a $15 minimum order?
A:
I am happy to offer free shipping on domestic orders, I just request that your order total over $15.

Q: Do you accept checks or money orders?
A: No I do not. I had a check bounce for a large order and so I no longer accept checks or money orders. Currently I accept Visa, MC, or Paypal.

Q: Do you sell on ebay?
A: I do sell on ebay. You can look for me by my user name which is "theonlyduda" or you can search for Duda Lampwork. Please Click here to see my ebay feedback.

Q: Does anyone help you make the beads?
A:
No... I make every lampwork bead you see on this site. Glass is my passion and I simply love making beads!

Q: Why do Boro beads cost more?
A: Boro beads are made from Borosilicate glass which is considered a "hard glass" and is much stiffer to work with. As a result more heat, oxygen, and time is needed to make these beautiful beads.

Q: Do you offer wholesale discounts?
A: No I do not. I am a one person operation and since each bead you receive is handmade by little ol' me there is no way I can ramp up production to accomodate larger orders.

Q: When do you add new bead sets?
A: I add new beads every Tuesday. If you want a little reminder just sign up for my newsletter and I'll email you when new beads are fresh outa the kiln!

Q: Do you take Special Orders?
A:
Yes. Please read my Special Orders FAQ for more information.

Q: Why do they call you Duda?
A:
I affectionately refer to my spouse as "Dude" and therefore we decided that made me Duda.
